Manchester Malayalee Cultural Association (MMCA) is a non-profit cultural organization to promote social, cultural, charitable, educational and literary activities among the Malayalees in South Manchester area and to organize co-operative and charitable activities in the general interest and well being of the members of the association as and when required, and to coordinate, such activities with other communities.
We preserve and promote Indian culture-especially Kerala culture- through various festivals and events organized throughout the year.
Kerala, land of the coconut tree, is another India entirely. It is a lush, green, somnolent, watery state down on the south-western coast.
It is a highly politicized region, but has a long tradition of religious amity. Kerala has its own language, Malayalarn, and has 100% of literacy
The pride of Kerala are exotic beaches, wondeful hill stations, enchanting waterfalls, beautiful lagoons & meandering rivers
